As Central Ohio solidifies its role as a key data center hub, the need for specialized talent is surging. the J. Warren McClure School of Emerging Communication Technologies at Ohio University is preparing graduates to fill these critical roles through targeted technical and cybersecurity education.

Exploring the molecular behavior of biopolymers, an Ohio University research team hopes to uncover the biophysical properties of these polymers and understand how they can be manipulated to create new types of sustainable materials—potentially replacing petroleum-based polymers in various industries.

"Collaborations between universities, local, state and federal governments and industry all need to work as seamlessly as possible to ensure that the flourishing microelectronics industry has what it needs," said Balasubramaniam Shanker, of the Ohio State University who is leading the Midwest Semiconductor Network.
